2nd National Conference on Assessment of Multicultural/Diversity Outcomes


At This Conference you Will:

  • Be given assessment tools and rubrics to evaluate your own program and prepare for state and/or NCATE diversity requirements for accreditation,
  • Examine revised and newly created assessments and evaluation results from 10 participating institutions,
  • Become knowledgeable about the use of assessments and rubrics to guide program development,
  • Gain information about diversity standards that deal with attitudes, knowledge, and skills related to accreditation,
  • Be given ideas that will foster collegial participation and involvements,
  • Discover useful learning outcomes for teacher education programs.

Materials, Meals, and More

The $90 registration fee includes refreshments on Friday and refreshments and lunch on Saturday.  Participants staying at the Marriot will receive a breakfast buffet on Saturday.  All Assessment tools and workshop materials are included in the cost.  Free shuttle service will be offered between the Marriot and KCI Airport.  Registration deadline is March 12th, 2004 ($120 after deadline).

Fees do not include the cost of the hotel. The Kansas City Airport Marriot will be offering a conference rate of $74.00 + tax on reservations made by March 12th, 2004, by 5 pm.
