University
UWRF is a coeducational,
public university founded in 1874 as a normal school for the preparation of
teachers. The campus is located less than 30 miles from the heart of
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. The university enrollment is approximately 5,800
students, 1600 of these students are preparing to become teachers.
Description Project
Activities
UWRF has varied partnerships with community programs in Western Wisconsin and
Eastern Minnesota. There is extensive university collaboration and these
internal partnerships have resulted in research grants and curriculum material
development. Their assessment plan includes the content area and attitude
assessments.
